Welcome to OBX Beach Buggies.  We are a street-legal golf cart rental and sales company located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  These carts are also called low speed vehicles or LSV’s.  Our golf carts are electric and can be driven approximately 35 miles on a full charge.  They plug into any standard outlet, which makes recharging the battery a very easy process.  Our carts are street legal, and may be driven on roads with speed limits of 35 miles per hour or less.   We will deliver the cart to your vacation rental home. So, leave the car at the house and cruise around in one of our street-legal golf carts.  Take the hassle out of walking to the beach with all of your gear.  Ride to your favorite restaurant or fish market for some dinner.   Or, take the cart to go watch one of our beautiful sunsets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we drive our street-legal golf cart on the beach? No.  These low speed vehicles (LSV’s) can only be driven on public and private roads with speed limits of 35 miles per hour or less.

What are the rental rates? $400 per week.  Three-day rental depending on availability.

How do we reserve a street-legal golf cart? Contact us by phone or email and request a reservation form.  A credit card number will secure the cart, with payment due 60 days prior to your arrival.

Where can we park our street-legal golf cart? You can park your cart wherever street-legal parking is permitted.  Depending on your location, restaurants, grocery stores, local parks and attractions, and beach access parking areas.

How do we get to your location? No need, we will deliver the golf cart to you! Our customers will never have to pick up a cart themselves.
